Hi, Joseph Kulick LMT, CLT.

Owner and founder of This Massage Place located in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. I provide personalized therapeutic massage and bodywork focused on reducing discomfort, improving mobility, supporting recovery, and helping you move and feel better.

I’m a Pennsylvania Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist. I graduated from Cortiva Institute in 2017 and later returned as an instructor, teaching anatomy and physiology, business and ethics, and massage techniques.

Before becoming a massage therapist, I spent approximately 20 years in the IT industry and served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. I eventually chose a different path, one that allowed me to work directly with people and help them feel better in their bodies.

I believe there’s no such thing as a “regular massage.” Your body changes, and your massage should change with it.

I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all massage. Every session is based on what you’re experiencing that day and may incorporate Myofascial Release, NeuroKinetic therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, and many other methods within my training and scope of practice.

At This Massage Place, your session is your time.

Your only responsibility is to breathe.

My Approach

I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all massage approach. Every session is based on what you’re experiencing at the time of your appointment. I may incorporate Myofascial Release, NeuroKinetic therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, and many other methods within my training and scope of practice to obtain your goal.

Simple ideas

I work from a simple principle: the body is always trying to protect you.

Rather than focusing only on where you feel discomfort, I look at the bigger picture—how you move, where your body may be compensating, and what might be contributing to what you’re feeling.

From there, we work toward helping you move and feel better.

Lasting impact

My goal isn’t just to help you feel better on the table. I want the work we do together to carry into your everyday life—helping you move more comfortably, understand your body better, and make the benefits of each session last.
